We are looking for a senior system developer who enjoys working independently or in small teams, closely with the client towards clear goals and deliveries.

About us At CityMail, IT plays a central role in the entire operation. The IT department consists of two parts, IT Development and IT Operations and Support.

IT Development currently consists of five developers who are responsible for developing and integrating most of CityMail's systems. The group consists of two database developers and three system developers, delivering tailored IT solutions to all parts of the organization, to improve and streamline CityMail's operations.

IT Operations and Support consists of two technicians who manage servers, networks, telephony, and provide support to the rest of the company regarding IT-related issues.

Our systems are primarily used by our employees and are designed to simplify and enable our operations. The systems we develop today are intended to manage the flows of letters and packages that we deliver from our customers to recipients, with functions such as tracking packages in the delivery chain, ensuring that our staff can report that a package has been delivered, organizing recipients, and managing information about where people live, among other things.

We also have systems aimed at external users, for example, our customers can provide information about the letters and packages we are to deliver, retrieve information about deliveries, and systems where package recipients can order additional services for the delivery.

About the role

As a system developer with us, you will have a broad role and will be involved in all different phases of the development of CityMail's systems, such as design, development, and troubleshooting.

All new development takes place in Microsoft's Azure environment using C#, .NET, and Angular. We use Microsoft SQL Server as our database. We utilize features in Azure such as App Services, Function Apps, Service Buses, Storage Accounts, etc., and use Azure DevOps for requirements management and Continuous Integration and Deployment.

Our system developers work closely with our Quality and Development department, which is responsible for producing requirements for development projects and conducting quality tests of the developed systems. The role also includes some contacts with end-users of the systems.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• at least 5 years of experience working as a system developer
• solid experience with C#, .NET, and the Azure environment
• relevant academic education
• experience troubleshooting in complex IT environments
• experience working as a full-stack developer
• good knowledge of Swedish

It is also a merit if you have:

• knowledge of SQL
• knowledge of YAML (Azure Pipelines) and ARM templates
• knowledge and experience with Angular
• experience from companies in the transport sector of the e-commerce industry
